I’m a pianist/piano teacher by profession and speak Mandarin Chinese.

Gangqinjia is Mandarin for “pianist.”

The characters are prettier, though. é’¢ç´å®¶ 🙂

joya áspera means uncut gem/gem in the rough. I love the whole concept of natural gems, and gems being discoverd and pulled from the rough, deep down from the depths of our planet. I love the philosophical aspect, the “diamond in the rough” (and yes I do love the Alladin movie, partly because of that theme!)

Metalkisses comes from a gesture I used to do alot, single days. 🙂
If I saw my guy from across a room I would kiss the tips of my fingers and do the metal sign at him. Hence.. metal kisses. m/ 🙂

Faraway because I live ina different continent to my Fiance, and my family live in a different “continent” (technically Island nation – Oceania) to both of us, and I am planning my wedding from halfway across the world.

Violet is my middle name, and the name I prefer to use online. I may name a future daughter Violet!

When I was 13, I plugged “star” into a Japanese name generator and got Sutaru (スタール). My name means star.

Mine’s pretty obvious, haha. Aside from Fiance being a college professor, I also call him Professor a lot, so it works on two levels.

Ama is short for a nick name people call me (Amarie) Llama happens to rhyme with that nickname, so they called me Ama Llama for the longest. So it stuck.
