so here is my dress 🙁 (the huge sample anyways)… anywho… i have been obsessing over what length veil i should have…. i think its either 22 inch (midchest length), 18inch (shoulder length) , or cathedral length (108 inches)… i have tried on a few (sorry no pics) and havent been impressed at all with the elbow length or fingertip length ones.
oh and i should prolly add that i extended the train (i added 20 inches) and will have a corset back on the dress 🙂
sooooooooooo…. which length veil will look best? oh and i want a blusher no matter what
ps…(i am getting married in a church, if that matters at all 🙂

I personally voted for the cathedral length 🙂 I think considering you’re having a train and that it’s a really figure hugging style of dress (which looks GORGEOUS on you by the way!) that it would really set it off to have a long glam veil that falls softly behind you and doesn’t compete with your dress for attention.

I think cathedral. I think it’ll go best with the long train 🙂

hrmmm… i originally wanted a cathedral length just bc i always pictured myself with one on my wedding day, but then my mom said itd look weird with my dress so i was avoiding them… hrm? now im just confused 🙁

Well. To be honest when I first saw the dress I thought of a birdcage. I just think it would be adorable (and I don’t even like birdcage veils!)

Do you also have the jacket like in the model picture? If so then I second KaitlinHudson
suggestion for a birdcage.

nope no jacket…. i tried on birdcage veils but it just doesnt match my style… i think they look odd on me 🙁

With the jacket and your hair, I’d say birdcage. Without the jacket, I’d say finger-tip length – elegant, but more practical than a cathedral.

It’s Sara Gabriel, I love all of her veils! http://www.saragabriel.com/

I voted cathedral length, but I’m starting to realize that I always vote for cathedral length veils in these polls! 🙂 I just think they are so elegant and romantic, and if you’re not a fan of birdcage veils, then go all the way with a cathedral veil, I say! 🙂

cathedral cathedral cathedraL! i think it’s the classiest length, SO gracy kelley! 🙂
especially with the long train on your dress, i think it will be fabulous! soooo classic and perfect for a church!
