I had an ivory dress, and flowergirls were in ivory too. However, I think you could do white, it is just a subtle difference

I’m never picky about white/ivory (for the grooms shirt or tablecloths) but for a flowergirl dress I think I’d try to find something ivory or in a color.

Have you held the dresses up side by side? It might not even be noticeable. And it doesn’t matter too much (at least in my mind) if your flower girl looks a little different.

ETA: that having been said, it is a nice opportunity to play with a print or something that you would never choose for bridesmaids.

I’m picky, and I’m not going to have pure white anywhere.  Ivory all the way.  If the flower girls end up not wearing color, they’ll be in ivory.

I’m having a similar dilemma with wedding colors. I want black and white, but would love an ivory dress. I have been going back and forth about it, but I always come back to…it’s your day, whatever makes you happy is what you should do. And if you love every detail, they will work well together. Nobody will know the difference. 🙂

It won’t look much different in photos.
