@allinoelle:  with the right hair and makeup you can look more your age.  keep in mind, attitude and posture can aide with this too.

i do know what you mean.  i don’t have a ‘baby face’ but when i was younger, i always looking younger than what i was.  it didn’t help that i had my son so young.  strangers would ask me if he was my little brother.  i tired of that quickly.

going forward, the best advise, you just learn to embrace it.  have the mindset that you are going to look great at 40.  when someone says that you look so young, just say, “thank you” and change the subject.  again, it’s all in the attitude.

i still don’t quite look my age and i’m 46.  the last time i got asked for i.d. was going to a club for my gf’s bday about 4 years ago.  seriously?  i actually lol’d for real.  i was more than happy to hand my i.d. over.  the poor guy at the door was probably my son’s age and just replied, “wow, good for you”.  i swear if i had been single, i wouldn’t given him a bj for that compliment.  lol

I wish I had a babyface. I’m starting to get major wrinkles from being “too expressive” as my mom says 🙁

*raises hand* Always have, most likely always will. Honestly, rather that then looking older then you actaully are. I think all us young looking people have the better end of the deal haha

@allinoelle:  Trust me girl I’m 26 and everyone thinks like 17-18. I’m 5’0 and naturally petite so that totally gives the idea of young lady. Its annoying but I will love it when i’m 50! 😉

I’m 27 and people stopped ID-ing me about a year or so ago, I guess.  I was actually a little bummed when I bought booze before New Year’s and I wasn’t asked for ID.

I’ll be 30 this year but i most people assume im in my early to mid 20s – average guess is 24.

It used to bother me when I was younger, people always thought I looked younger then I was, but now I am perfectly okay with it!

I’m 31 and people often think I’m in my mid 20’s. It’s sucks when you’re younger and that is happening, but once you get older it’s definitely a good thing!

@Irish Terrier:  This just happened to me over the summer. My little cousin was starting high school in the fall and a (distant) friend of the family asked if I was excited to start. I responded with “I’m 26.” and her face turned bright red.  Seriously though? I was mistaken for a 14year old!!!

Yup.   I’m 32, and I still get carded.   Legal age here is 18  >.<

Well, actually I don’t have a baby face, I’m pretty thin, my face is not round in the least, but I just look young.

I guess I’ll appreciate it when I’m 40, but I sure got some disaproving looks when I was pregnant with our son  Undecided

I’m 27 and a teacher. I have been mistaken for a Grade 5 student before and I generally get ID’d at 18A movies. I have already accepted that I will basically look like a child bride haha.

When I went to my son’s highschool a few months ago, one of the teenage boys hit on me thinking I was a student there. No one ever believes me when I tell them I have two teenagers and I get carded every time a order a drink…I’m 39. I am not complaining!

People always think I’m young.. Like 16 or younger! It doesn’t help that I’m 4’11 and under 100 pounds, they probably assume I’m not done growing!

When my mom was around 26 she went on a trip to Israel and the other people on the tour kept getting mad at her mother for letting her walk around alone, thinking she was 17!! Now she is in her 50’s and is still cute and tiny so people think she’s in her early 40’s, so I guess it’s a perk!!
