LOL I think it’s more the timeline than the age itself. I got MAD baby fever in the months leading up to my wedding & I was 21-22. It’s very normal to start feeling this as the wedding day comes closer! And then the whole first year after 😛 I convinced Darling Husband, & now we’re TTC :D:D

@starz88962:  I’m not having really bad baby fever, but I am, for the first time in my life (all 28 years of it, so I’m right in your range), feeling something. But for me, I think it’s just the fact that biological babies are out for us. I knew when I met my husband that he had had a vasectomy after his second kid, and I was perfectly fine with that. Actually, it was a huge plus, for me. But now we’ve been married for a few months (almost six) and while I still have no desire to have any kids right now, or even any time soon, it hit me really, really hard a few weeks ago that it wouldn’t ever happen. Which is so remarkably stupid because I’ve known since day one.

27, getting married in September, and totally have baby fever!! I’m not adopted and I think it’s pretty common for anyone our age and getting married soon. I’m going to have to fight it off for a little while, my Fiance wants to be more settled and start an MBA program before we start TTC. I just want to get off the pill ASAP so I can at least know what’s going on with my cycles!

My husband feels a strong drive for kids, partially because he was adopted.

I’m 22 and already have an 18 month old from a previous relationship. We are getting married in November and I already have baby fever!! All my friends have babies the same age as mine and are pregnant again. I can’t help but want to give her a sibling!!

I had crazy baby fever a year to two years ago (back when I was 25 – 26). Right now at 27, I’m having INSANE cold feet.

I agree with the bees, it might be more of an age factor. I started getting worried when I turned 27, I am now 28 and Darling Husband and I agree to wait another year or so. As the months get closer, I am getting more and more nervous. I do not know what to expect. I have so many questions as neither of us have kids.

@starz88962:  I just recently turned 28 and I’ve got some raging baby fever!! I just asked my Fiance tonight how long he thinks he wants to wait after the wedding if our jobs are secure etc.  lol.  hahaha It’s totally our age… biologically speaking, we probably should’ve already reproduced by now, I think it our innate instinct to want to reproduce and have babies now… around 24/25 I had a HUGE spurt of baby fever!  I totally knew it was NOT going to happen.. I want to be married first and have a house etc and we weren’t even engaged then… I chalked it up to hormones and biological instinct lol

I think it is age. from just before I turned 27 I started having raging baby fever. At the time I think I was ready to steal a baby everytime I caught public transport. Luckily Darling Husband proposed so I didn’t go to jail for kidnapping and in a few months I may be contemplating one of my own.

Just know that you and a biological child can also be completely different. I love my daughter to death but even at 10 I can see she is a very different person than me. I love that she is who she is though and I try to nourish her into becoming the person she is meant to be even if its nothing like myself.
