And my body hurts from sitting on the floor so long!
I’ve been super lazy about my wedding crafts, so today I finally got my bum in gear and finished some stuff.
I finished all my candle jars (jelly jars with crochet lace around them), and now I’m working on decorating picture frames for the “Reserved” tables.
Here’s the one I have finished so far- it’s a little smaller than the other 2 I’m working on at the moment.
My plan is to have our calligrapher make signs for the Bridesmaid or Best Man and Groomsmen tables, the parents tables, and our sweetheart table.
The BM’s table will say “Ladies”, the Groomsmen will say “Gents” and then I want Mr. and Mrs. signs for our table.

Oh those are absolutely beautifully adorable! LOVE THEM! =D

Thanks everyone! I’m really happy with how they turned out, especially since they started out as the cheapest frames I could find at Goodwill… they’re those sad gold metal frames that everyone’s grandma has had in her house since the 70’s 😀
I decided that I wanted to make these last weekend when I was in a friend’s wedding, and she just marked the Bridesmaid or Best Man and Groomsmen tables with a little printed “reserved” sign, and Fiance had no idea which table he was supposed to sit at!
I feel like this will be a very pretty way to take out the confusion.

Those frames are just too cute! I can’t wait to see the final project! Good job!

I love that frame! And you can use it after the wedding too. So adorable.

Here’s the second frame I have finished. It will probably be for the Bridesmaid or Best Man table, and the one I’m working on now is the same size and will go on the Groomsmen table.
I took a really long break to let my body rest, and to talk with one of my BMs about how one of her guests almost stole my bouquet (I was also in her wedding on the 21st).
So, belated update. I’ll be sure to keep posting progress shots of them as I get more made,
And I’ll def. show pictures after the signs are done, because my calligrapher will want pro shots for her website. I’m lucky that my calligrapher and photographer are best friends, and both have been friends with Fiance since high school, so I get free calligraphy, and extra pro-shots of anything that I have her work on since she needs it for her website 😀

@hibiscusgirl: DO IT! DO IT! DO IT!
I put off my DIY projects like the plague. Between school, work, and my sewing, textile design, and visual display projects (Fashion Merch Grad student) I seriously just felt apathetic about wedding projects by the end of the day.
But now I’ve got nothing to do, so apathy isn’t a good excuse. And I did my internship at Anthro last summer building store displays, so I have high expectations of myself… I need to live up to them!
It’s never to late to add a few extra details! You have a whole extra month on me!
