Oh!  I hope you don’t have a reaction of some sort before your wedding!

I’m interested to hear the outcome of this. Sounds like its going well so far but keep me updated. Hopefully there will be no reaction (especially if your wedding is Friday) *fingers crossed*

Coolio! You should do it for a week and keep us posted. My skin is a bit reactive, so I’m hesitant to jump in just yet…

I have a friend who wears deod on her face whenever it’s hot out! She puts it on her forehead near her hairline and a little on her upper lip. She swears by it!

I used to do some theatre as a kid and we would use spray deodorant all over our faces (after makeup) so that we didn’t sweat our makeup off under the hot lights.  I never had a reaction and it worked well!

@amethystbride:  We did this with dance team and I never had a issue with it either!

I totally forgot about it and will probably be doing this for the wedding now lol!

I want to hear more… but like in about a week… I need to know if this will cause breakouts! Sometimes breakouts are delayed, so not going to try just yet!

Just be careful.

I read an article a few years ago about using Monistat anti-chafing cream as a makeup primer. This is stuff you are supposed to put on your thighs I think so when you sweat and they rub against each other you won’t get irritated.

BAD IDEA. At least for me. The next day I had weird little pimples ALL over my face. With whiteheads. I didn’t leave the house for like 3 days.

But people swear by using the stuff so who knows – things affect people differently.

@kimm99: Yup! I use that for my primer and loooove it, it’s so much cheaper than the real stuff! πŸ™‚

They do make sprays and powders that are specifically for setting makeup, I’d definitely recommend that over deodorant, way less of a chance of your skin reacting to it! Check out Sephora or something, I use Makeup Forever Mist & Fix, which gives me a nice glowy look, and Urban Decay makes one to control oil and last all night!
