@MissFireFlower:  I would call the place you got the extensions from and ask why that happened.

Funny thing is that I just heard of these yesterday.  It’s a pretty cool idea, but holy moly it’s expensive.

I thought about doing them but I have a fear that the same thing will happen to me. I hope that’s not common!

I stupidly cut my eyelashes when I was a kid, just a chunk of them on my left eye. They have never been the same.

If it’s really visible you can wear those clumps of fake eyelashes to cover up the bald spot until they grow back.

I also had an awful experience that I posted about a while back. I had an allergic reaction the “medical grade” glue. Eyelash extensions (and the salon I got them from) suck!! Sorry, guys, I don’t know how to resize pictures, but this picture was taken AFTER the swelling went down.

@MissFireFlower:  The lady at my salon gave me $15 back because she thought the “tinting” was what caused the breakout, but not the actual extensions – don’t worry, I blew the internet up blasting them.

In the meantime, I couldn’t even touch my eyes.  But, in your case, I would just either fill it in with eyeliner or buy the fake eyelashes that they sell in most comestic departments and just glue in one little piece everyday?

I think it’s best that you just let them grow out. I got eyelash glue stuck on my actual eyelashes and they just got pulled out.

I have had eyelash extensions on for about a year now. It def takes some getting used to- not be able to rub your eyes. I had a bunch fall out within the first few days, but only because I was not as careful as I should have been. After about 3 weeks I went back in and got a fill. I must say, the second time they turned out even better. The girl who does mine basically explained that we loose tons of lashes at night when we remove our makeup and don’t even thing about it.(because we are tugging and rubbing hard on our eyes) But when you have extensions on, you gently use a Q-tip to remove any makeup. Your eyelashes will grow back within a week or two, but if you insist on taking them out I suggest baby oil and a hot shower. This usually does the trick! Whatever you do, do NOT pull them out!! It hurts like a ** Tongue Out

@MissFireFlower:  Your doctor can remove them with a solvent – at least, that’s what the ER did for me…

Wait, your real lashes fell out too? That’s nuts!

Ladies, don’t glue stuff to your lashes. Just get the LATISSE. Totally worth it, and they’re your own lashes! I’ve been using it for about 4-5 weeks and my lashes are the length and thickness of falsies.
