Yesterday I sat down and looked over the guest list and realized that there is about 170 people on there. I love that. The church’s fellowship hall will not though. It holds only 100 and that is the max. Making things slightly squished. I can rent a community center for 400 and get 200 back later but that means more money that I dont have or may not have. I thought about a BBQ in my grandmas back yard but i do not have the money for chairs and tables.

If your church’s hall is the only place you can afford, you will just HAVE to cut you guest list down. Some people will say no so you can invite a bit more than the hall can hold, but otherwise you will have to try to get a bigger place. There is just no way to fit more people into a room than the max unfortunately ( I have family who seem to think that I can…)

You may have to reduce to your guest list to include only close family and very close friends. You might be able to get creative though. What about a banquet room of some sort, or a location at the college you attend? Also, don’t forget the resources on your guest list. I am getting my reception hall for free because my grandfather is a member of the Knights of Columbus. Just some ideas!
