What a horrible, icky feeling! When I had surgery a few years ago I couldn’t shower for a week. A WEEK. So I totally feel your pain. I hope they fix it soon!

@Sweet.Sugar.Rose:  Awww. Maybe you can use a heating pad to help hold you over?

Can you get water a litter hotter than the right temp in the sink and pour it into the bathtub with a bucket?

Or if you have some tubing, hold one end of the tube to the sink faucet and let the water pour into the tub from the other end? That one may require the help of your husband but it might mean you get a bath.

You don’t have to let the water sit for an hour. I would want to jump in right away, seeing as how you have waited for so long 🙂 Just add a bucket or two of cold/cooler water to help cool the hot water. Good luck and happy bathing!!! lol

Fill the tub up 1/2 full of hot water then pour 2 buckets of cold water from the sink!

Yuck, so sorry for you! Ask them what they are going to do to make it up to you…legally I think you’re entitled to a properly functioning shower or bath!

I would book a hotel for the night to use the shower, and charge your landlord for it. I am sure if you looked into it you would be covered, because legally you are supposed to have adequate sanitary facilities.

This is a good idea.  Then just deduct the amount of the hotel room from your next rent payment.  You could also hire your own plumber and deduct that amount.

Yeah, I couldn’t use the bathroom for 3 days at my last apartment and they had to pay for a hotel for me!
