Wow. I have a child with special needs and have heard very rude comments that just left me with my mouth hanging open. However, this takes the cake. Besides being completely out of line, it sounds like she has seen one too many episodes of “sons of anarchy” maybe?

@lalalyanne:  I already said in my other post I would have done the same thing you did given it happened at work.

Good luck! Hope today goes better.

Lol. I love it when people throw out the Hell’s Angels or other gangs.. most of the time, its bullcrap and they aren’t even affiliated.

@lalalyanne:  Completely uncalled for. There is never a good idea to threaten a child.

@lalalyanne:  First off, good job of keeping your head about you!  This woman was entirely out of line and making threats over something so menial just speaks to her lack of couth and poor character.  You were smart to report her atrocious behavior and leave.  Nothing good would have come if you had laughed in her face, or responded with aggression.  Sad that this lady feels so poorly of herself that she needs to namedrop (inappropriately so….) and threaten random strangers. She’s a coward and a bully.

Secondly, I agree with PPs. People tend to watch too much Sons of Anarchy and gangland. lol

My brother and sister in law are part of an “association”, not Hell Angels but still a biker group. And protecting those who can’t defend themselves is one of the top guidelines for most groups. If I’d been on my own time and my own child, I probably would have called her on it.  She’s nothing more than a bully and bullies get their power because no one stands up to them. But if I were working and the child was one I was charged with protecting,  I would’ve done like you did, then told my child hat what he did was right but sometimes adults choose to act inappropriately. And I definitely would have talked to the manager, and written a detailed letter to corporate informing them of their clientele’s actions.

That person is a ignoramus. A HA would never allow their ole lady to act like that. Never. Nor would they allow an ole lady to use the club name in that way. They raise a lot of money for charities for kids. I’m sorry that happened. That’s just a horrible human being miserable in their own skin.
