I’m the same way! We just celebrated our 1st anniversary, so now the baby fever is really here!! I just try to focus on enjoying it just being the two of us for now. We will be over the moon when we have a little one, but it will be a life changer!

@ThinkingOutLoud: Same here, but in the same boat as you with the job and my parents begging for grand children. His mom does not want any grand children yet so that helps! lol

I am there with you… and probably worse off than you are…. I am 19 years old, been married for four months. Im in college full time. My husband works nights. Obviously the scariest thing to a 20 year old male is having a child. I know its completely insane in my case because Im so young and a sophmore in college. Absolutely no one is supportive of the idea and I have heard every reason why I should wait. and I understand them all…. Anyway Im rambling! Sorry! I know what youre feeling, like most the other commenters, I hope it either passes, or a baby comes for you!

I just find it interesting reading these threads.
I had baby fever years ago but it was never the right time or the right person. And now that I’ve met my husband and gotten married (only 3 weeks ago) he doesn’t want to TTC for another 18 months. So it’s a good thing I’ve gotten that baby fever under control (way under control, I used to mention it every day, now it’s like once a fortnight). I think the feeling kind of just died after so many years of ‘inaction’ lol.
Although when I look at baby things now for my pregnant friends, I do sometimes feel a pang..

We’ve been married over two years now and I’m the opposite…I feel like I’m the only one without baby fever!
But I can promise you…being a newlywed is fun! So if you guys decide it’s not time for you yet, you have plenty of things to enjoy between now and baby!
