Ugh! Some people just dont know how to treat other people! {Hugs} Im so sorry. I think you should just give them a piece of your mind and leave. Im sure you will find something better than that. Nobody should be treated that way. Have you called corportate? You may need to speak with someone a little higher up about not having proper training and tell them the way that story employees are speaking to you is not professional.

I’m so sorry you’re feeling like this! No one deserves to be treated like that and I can totally relate to your experiences.  You are NEW for a reason, you don’t know what to do and you obviously aren’t a mind reader.  Your lead associate sounds like a stuck up little beyatch that forgets that she was in your shoes at one time.  I know it’s rough but you can get through the next few days before you find another job because you need out of their ASAP and if you feel like you need to quit than quit!  I wouldn’t even bother giving them a notice.  Yes, extra money is good but not when you are sacrificing your mental health for it.  Try to keep your spirits up!

@roweboat:  She sounds like an a-hole.  As someone who has 6 staff, I assume it will take at least 3 months to really understand the basics, and up to a year to be a total master.  She sounds awful. Move on, missy, so not worth it for minimum wage. Think about how fun it would be to work at Starbucks or a small yogurt shop for the same, and way less BS….?

I would have broken down in tears if I were you! I want to smack your boss myself! Good luck on the job hunt…i’d say if you keep getting talked to like that, to stand up for yourself and/or quit. It’s not worth it! ANd no, you do not need to put this job on your resume or anything. Nobody needs to know you worked there, therefore they won’t need to contact them for references or anything.

Retail just sucks, no matter which way you look at it. Sorry you’re getting the short end of the stick on this one 🙁

@roweboat:  People can truly make all the difference in an experience. These people aren’t trying very hard to make yours (and everyone else’s) a positive one. 🙁
