Ever since I discovered the wonderful world of personalised M&Ms I have been wanting to use them for my favours. Yesterday I discovered that FI’s name & My name won’t fit. I can put Tibbs on half the M&Ms and Mr Tibbs on the other half, but that’s just not in the spirit of a wedding.
So here are the alternatives: 1) Initials (e.g. AFK + KJM*) 2) Wedding date (28 December 2013) or 3) Venue, which has a fancy name (e.g Kingsbury Court*)
Or should I skip the M&Ms altogether?
*Initials and venue name changed to protect my precious, precious privacy.

Ive necer been to or seen a wedding done with M&Ms. I think you initials would be more appropriate as the venue M&Ms would just seem like free advertising to me and the date doesnt say anything about your actual wedding. Ideally initial and date would be best

@Tibbs: i vote initials!! you could do two orders; one order of initals and one for the date. Just
my opinion 🙂

I would do your initials and a picture the of you in 2 colors.

Damn, I messed up this poll by only allowing one answer. I was planning on two colours (red and white) and TWO personalisations, but I see initials and date are the two most popular, so I I think I’ll do that.

@Tibbs: Just put Tibbs on one side and the date on the other?

@Aquaria: They only allow one side of the candy to be printed, I think.
OP – Do some with your initials, and others with the date. Or the picture idea – I like that.

@Tibbs: Can’t you do your initials and date on one M&M? I was allowed four options for my M&Ms We did four different designs.
ETA: I just read your update:)

@Tibbs: Where does one get these said M&M’s?!

I think you can order up to 4 personalizations, with a max of 2 photos out of the 4.
If it were me, I’d think along the lines of: initials, a photo, “I do” or “We did”, date. They then mix and match those so some of each appears on the different colors you choose.
I’ve done them several times and they’re always a hit.

@fascinated: I like the “We did”, I might used that.
I asked my mother and she made quite a strong case for “Kingsbury Court”.
Would it make a difference to anyones opinon if I reveal that my venue is also my father’s family’s ancestral seat?
