LOL I feel the same way! Trolls make me laugh and the people who respond know what they’re getting into so drama happens…but the best kind of trolls are these:

I have to say, being on the other end of this, I really don’t enjoy trolls, the negativity they bring to an otherwise happy, supportive and peaceful environment, and the amount of chaos they can create in a short span of time. Saying you enjoy them (even sarcastically, I don’t think they understand sarcasm) is actually going to fuel them. They thrive on drama, so please, don’t poke the trolls. Let’s keep WB a happy place with unicorns and sunshine okay? 😉

@bakerella: Nobody said they “enjoyed trolls”

All I’m saying is I think people should be wise enough to ignore trolls….flag them rather than entertain them.

@Koolbeans621: Agreed. There are quite a few people on here to who take it upon themselves to get on their soapbox and lecture trolls as if a troll actually gives a damn about being considerate and playing nice. I literally *facepalm* whenever this happens, because they’re playing right into the troll’s hands.

A person who creates an account for the express purpose of insulting people is not interested in playing nice, and is not going to realize the error of their ways or suddenly develop a conscience because someone else tells them they’re being mean. They live for the people who call them out, they thrive on getting other posters riled up. That’s why they’re here.

So if everyone quits responding to the trolls and just flags them instead, their intentions will go unfilfilled and the drama will be kept to a minimum.

That dickwad theory is hilarious by the way, and very true.

I get amusement out of trolls when I’m in a really silly mood. Other than that, I think those people are silly and are hungry for attention. Meh.

Can I be a complete internet dork and disagree with the first graphic? lol

To me, the person in the first graphic is just a general jerk and idiot, not necessarily a troll.  To me, a troll is a person who intentionally sets out to cause drama or make fun of people for their own amusement…not a person who is expressing real (completely ridiculous, but still real) rage.  A person who is expressing true anger can be considered to be trolling, but more in the sense that they are acting like the kind of troll I described…like they’re pissed off, so they’re being antagonistic on purpose (but they’re not usually like that…they just hot a topic that brought out the worst in them).

I have no idea if I’m making any sense, but yeah lol.
