I decided that I wanted to keep looking around before I totaly decided on the Maggie dress I was going to buy. I am SO happy I did! We went into Alfred Angelos and found out it was the last day of their $98 or $498 dress sale. I am excited to say I found the most perfectly gorgeous dress there. Origionally over $900 which I would have NEVER been able to afford, my dress cost me $98!!!! It has a train for days which was important to me. It is lacy and sparkly and so much more pretty than these pictures show. They honestly don’t even do it a little justice. And the dress is actually a size smaller than I normally wear so it fit is a little off. I am also going to see if they can tone down then pleating on the butt. Not my favorite part. If they can get them to lay flat or even just take some fabric out I would love that!

@tarheelgrad98: No. I went to the one in Arligton by the Parks. My mom lives there and the one in Ft Worth closed.

Wow, that’s amazing, and it fits so well! I’m right there with you–I found a designer gown for $199–so high five! I’m really excited for you!
Since the gown was such a good deal, I bet you can get it tailored exactly how you like it. No matter what kinds of alterations you get, it will still be a lot cheaper than going the traditional route. Gorgeous!
