I did! I’m actually just reading A Feast for Crows now, which is the fourth book.

So did you love it? Are you planning to read the third one? The third one has by far been the best so far – so much stuff happened and it was really, really good!

@Evie19:  Most of your questions will be answered in the third book. Honestly, it’s so so good, I kind of want to just read it again insteadnofnthe fourth one, haha!

I’m not too far into the fourth one yet (only 2 or 3 chapters) so I’m still trying to wrap my head around what’s happening. So far it has been all new character chapters so I feel like I’m playing catchup. I think the next chapter will be a cersei chapter though so at least she’s familiar!

Are you watching the show now as well? The second season just started on Sunday night so it follows the storyline of the second book.

I have read all 5 books twice now. They are amazing! But does anyone else agree George R R Martin is a bit of a perv for writing so many child sex scenes haha?

I’m trying to remember what happened in book 2. Book 3 was definitely the best (aka sooo many characters die), book 4 was disappointing just because a lot of the best characters weren’t in it (hello Tyrion) and book 5 was pretty good.

@Pinkmoon:  I like how they aged everyone up 2 years on HBO to reduce the creep factor

@Evie19:  yeah, the books are definitely way better. So much detail! But the series is pretty good as well, I feel like they did a fair adaptation.

@LGenz:  Agree about how they aged everyone up… Now I don’t feel as creepy loving the Robb character.

@Catherine:  Yeah, I’m really glad they aged everyone too. Specifically because of Jon Snow, haha.

The books are so good! I really love the huge cast of characters. I’m partly through book three now, and Darling Husband keeps trying to talk to me about it, but he keeps hinting about stuff that happens later in the series because he can’t keep it all straight!

I’m on book 3 right now, about 200 pages in. It’s definitely action packed! I find myself staying up WAAAAAAAY too late at night reading, LOL! By far my favourite character is Tyrion. I keep finding myself cheering him on and then remembering that he’s supposed to be a “bad guy” but I love how hard he works to prove himself, how smart he is, and how he loves just for love’s sake, and doesn’t care about social convention.
