It’s cute! Is it only one box? I was picturing it to look like a wedding cake?

Cute! I’m sure it will suffice and it goes darling with your color scheme 🙂

How many guests are you expecting? It honestly may not be big enough for a large crowd. I also think you could spruce it up a bit. I love the navy color! Did you paint it?

Honestly…I dont love the painted on names. I do love the blue you chose. Did you consider covering it in fabric? That would look really nice.

Since you asked honest opinions… I know its DIY and I love DIY, but from the picture (and maybe its the picture) it looks tooo DIY looking, like an elementary project. I think fabric would have been better. I do think the colors are right. And I like the flower-esque decals.

Even if you get cards from half the invited guests, that single box (from the looks of it) will never hold them all.

If you can find another larger one and stack them, you might be OK.

I’m not sure what kind of wedding you’re having, but I think the card boxes always look better covered in fabric too.

@lefeymw: same.

The names aren’t very pretty. I would use more of a caliigraphy font, if you can do that. A nice cursive would work, with a much thinner brush.

What about using those stick on calligraphy stickers for your names?

In my honest opinons I have to agree it looks a bit tacky maybe leave off the writing…  I just took two cardboard boxes and stacked them. I wrapped them in gift wrap as if they were gifts except the top box I cut the a slit to fit a card in on top and then cut the bottom out and then the bottom box I cut a whole in so the cards could drop through the top slot and fall all the way through to the bottm box. I wrapped them in gift wrap and added ribbion. I got the wrap and ribbion at the 99cents store and the boxes were free… I’ll post a pic….  it was easy and cheap and all I have to do is make a tag that says cards on it…. I like it because it wont stand out as being a card box but with the tag people will know what it is for… it cost me like two bucks and took like 20 mins… I love gift wrapping so this was super easy…

If you like it and you’re happy that’s all that matters! It may be a little cheesy (sorry!!!) to have your names painted on there and I’m not lovin the decals but a AM lovin the color. I’d nix the names and the stick-ons and you’d have one sharp, neat, clean looking little cardbox.
