the “buy” thing will confuse guests.  And why do they have to register?

I don’t think it is too confusing, but I am not really a fan of online RSVPs.

For me personally, the layout looks far too clinical for being associated with a wedding. And while out-of-the-box ideas can be fun, I think this is so out of the box that it undermines the occasion a bit.

Also consider the age range of your guests. Older guests who are less computer literate are going to find this format very confusing.

Even being internet-savvy and a frequent online ticket buyer, as a guest I would look at this and think it was a bit odd. I’d understand what you were getting at, but I’d think it wasn’t the most appropriate way of going about the RSVPs for a wedding.

    Very cute!

One tip- I would delete or black out your last name from the ticket on this site,or you will be spammed by many vendors etc.

i think its a neat idea!  as a guest though, i am very laid back and generally don’t get offended by these kind of things. point is you are inviting me, i am happy to go, end of story for me. i don’t care HOW you want me to RSVP!   i might not “get” it until i got to your wedding and saw the rest of theme went with the RSVP.  i say go for it!

i would just be worried about their freedom to register as many guests as  they would like.  i have seen people have issues even when its clearly laid out “3 seats in your honor” and the guests scratch out 3 and put 5!  do you have a way to control this

@kfricke89: Why not just include an email address on the invite? If some people are mailing them in and others RSPVing online you’ll still have to crunch the numbers to get your totals. And if you’re worried about them getting lost in your regular email, you could get a free email account specifically for the RSVPs so they all go to one separate place.

I’ve had to use eventbrite for some other work related conferences and that sort, so I would find it a bit odd if a wedding rsvp was through eventbrite. Also that website has some bugs, such as timing out while being in the process of “registering” so you have to keep starting over.. very frustrating

I am also doing online rsvp, but using an actual wedding website that just allows the guests to enter their name and click whether they are attending or declining

I love it!! Too cute and very original.  I would MUCH rather do an online rsvp than snail mail but I am very digital and busy !

I think if you are doing mail in and online then most people will just do mail in.  Especially if you already put a stamp on it, which you should.  It’d be way easier to fill out a little card and drop it in my mail box than go online and try to remember the address of the online rsvp.

Just an FYI, there is a typo.  Under the “Event Details” section you say “

We are getting married! To RSVP ust set the quantity for the number of people you are bringing and hit register!”  I think you meant “To RSVP JUST set the quantity…”
