I am so excited, I just got my invitations in and I was thinking about tying it up nicely together with some bakers twine. Has anyone else used some with theirs or any kind of ribbon? If so I would love to see it! Also any ideas on how to be crafty about ribbon?

Your invites look great! However, if bakers twine is what I’m picturing it to be, I don’t know that it really goes with your fancy invites. Maybe a ribbon?

Here’s what mine looked like, with all personal info blurred out.

Where did you get your invitations? I love them!

@Tiffner: Agree with PP. Your invitations are beautiful but a little too formal to use baker’s twine. I think a belly band or ribbon would be a better fit.

The Paper Source! They are great – you can order them online at their website or they have stores across the U.S. I had a terrific experience with them – also on a plus note you can order them in 10’s instead of 25’s. This helped me out a ton since I didn’t need an odd number of invitations.

Pretty! I am using a lace belly band with baker’s twine! I would show pics, but they’re not done yet 🙁

Thank you for the suggestions like the PP! I feel like they just need something to tie it all together!

Great Idea! where did you get the lace belly band from?

I love that Paper Source design!! Great choice. I would use satin ribbon, like this:
I wouldn’t order from Paper Source, you can prob find it cheaper elsewhere… but just to illustrate.

We will be using baker’s twine!
I used white for my mock-up, but I have since bought white and pink for the final invites 🙂
ETA: I do agree with some previous posters, though. I think your invites would look better with ribbon or a band as they are more formal!

I plan on using ribbon for ours as well, as I don’t think bakers twine looks formal enough for our invites. Here is my inspiration!

We used a solid color twine for ours.
