edit- Please stop telling me I’ve over reacted. I’ve agreed several times in the comments that I think I did.
I am so upset by this!
I won’t link my blog, but I will tell you what happened.
I wrote a posting late this evening detailing the journey to choosing our bridesmaid dresses. I am a lifetime fan of pink, and so of course our wedding is pink.
I wrote about an arguement My Fiance and I had about the dresses this week, when the plan fell through he said I should have the girls wear whatever “nice” dress they have. I wouldn’t budge, especially at this point in our planning, things are bought! The girls WILL wear pink. I’ve let him have his say in a Ton of aspects of our wedding. I allowed him to veto me on our invite design.
Anyways, I just received a message in my inbox informing me I had a comment. Yeah! I LOVE comments!
Here however is what I read:
Anonymous “I’m with Mr. C on this one. The bridesmaids’ job is to show up; you have enough to worry about without trying to dress other adults as well. Let them wear something they’ll be happy with and can wear again- which seems unlikely with pink”
So I replied (not that I expect them to return unless its my B*tch of an ex-best friend):
“You’re going to comment on a blog called “and s_______ pink”, and tell me not to have my bridesmaids wear pink? Don’t read my blog.
You misunderstood Mr. C’s point, he was worried about cost.
When bridesmaids agree to BE a bridesmaid, they accept that they will wear a dress of the brides choosing.
Its the Grooms job to show up, which is what my Blog said, although thats not my opinion. I want Mr. C’s input, but not when it comes to my dress or the girls.
Its the bridesmaids job to support the bride in ALL her wedding planning.”
I’m I getting too upset?
