There has to be some leeway with the housing services vs university thing.  If you were told, in writing, that you could stay, then that document can help you out, right?

Also, it really sucks about the period thing.  I don’t know how health care works in Canada, but maybe it would be worth it to try a different doctor?  Get a second opinion and all that.

Can you tutor kids on the side to make some extra money?

@akirasan:  It must be hard to deal with over-bearing, dramatic parents (I have two of my own). I think it’s a smart decision to just keep them out of this as much as you can. It sucks when family can’t be supportive, but if they are destructive, you really don’t need that right now.

Sometimes life really kicks you down. Hang in there, you can make it. It really sucks right now, but oftentimes people learn the most from times of suffering. Be compassionate, kind, and patient with yourself. This may be a very stressful time, but at least you and Fiance have each other. Since you have to get through this one way or another, stick together, the two of you can get through this.

i don’t normally advocate doing something like this but do either of you have credit cards? if so, you can request they send you checks and you can write a check to pay for your housing. the money from the check goes onto your CC and then you can pay it off over time instead of having to have all $3000 right now. my CC’s are always sending me checks (but i throw them in the shredder) and it’s usually for a promotional APR. again, it’s not something i would normally tell anyone to do but i feel like in your case, it would really help you out.

@akirasan:  I would complain to the university, either via email or in a formal letter, explaining the situation.  I would also explain to housing services what’s going on.  There must be some way that you can prevent being kicked out!

@akirasan:  Hello!

I am very sorry to read about your current situation, I do hope things get better sooner rather then later for you.

I have a question about your bleeding and ask do you know if you have uterine fibroids?

When my fibroids were untreated I bled for months at a time, so I was just wondering if the doctors have checked for that yet.

 Awww hang in there.  I’m so sorry that you’re going through such a tough time. One thing that is great is that you and your Fiance sound like you’re aligned on how to weather it. That bodes very well for your future ๐Ÿ™‚
