Would you be willing to come across the line into Abbotsford? If so I know there’s a really cool barn with chandeliers that rents for $2000. Google Saar Bank Farms.

I was looking for the same thing but couldn’t find one in a barn that was cheap. Since I didn’t want to use thier caterer or pay more than 2k for a wedding venue, I decided that I’d have mine ON the water instead. I’m having 300+ people at my wedding and so we decided to go with the Edmond’s Senior Center since they still had some Saturdays available in June and July, could hold up to 400 banquet style, can prep the food in thier kitchen, only cost $1,800.00 for the full day (until 1AM!), great people to work with and free reign on decorating. We have put the reservation fee down but if you find something, please let me know. 🙂

I’m having my wedding in Arlington (wild rose weddings) it the average cost is around 3k for most venues (I’ve been planning since last March-getting married in June 2012)- just make sure it’s not just for the site- mine includes ceremony and seatting, tent, set up take down- use of facility I’m using a self-serve caterer out of Mt. Vernon – Kelly’s bbq- very reasonalbe!

here are some places I found that might help you:

http://www.cravenfarm.com/wedding.php

http://www.countrysidemeadows.com/

http://www.bellfirestables.com/

http://www.maronimeadows.com/weddings.html

Hope this helps. I’m paying 2900 for the venue, and 2300 for the caterer (includes 3 meat bbq and cocktail hour apps)
