I know just how you feel. I keep changing my mind a lot too. What I have found to be helpful for me is to just purchase it or book it or make it and be done with it, that way if I see something else and want to change my mind again, I can tell myself that I already have that taken care of and I don’t need to invest any more time/money into whatever I was going to change my mind about. It works about 97% of the time.

I also ramble on about wedding stuff. I just have to keep telling myself to keep it to myself because I am afraid to alienate anyone. If they bring the wedding up though, it is at their own risk ๐Ÿ™‚

I haven’t officially changed my mind too much.  But I am constantly second guessing my choices.  Its at the point where I’m annoying myself.  So far the only thing I have really tweaked was the flowers, but it wasn’t a drastic change.  All I know is, I plan on being the cautionary tale for any friends who get engaged.  The lesson is to take your sweet time figuring out what you want!

Oh I totally went thru it, but it was at about 8 months out.  I wanted to do a watermelon pink, cherry red, persimion orange wedding, but EVERYTHING was starting to be red… red was taking over, and I didn’t want that.. so I totally changed the scheme.. am I glad.. not really, I loved my old theme, and I probably could have made it work.. I’m less than three months out now, and committed to the new stuff, so it is what it is!

Just take time to really sit down one night and look at other weddings, get color inspiration.. you might find out that there is a different way to use the same colors.

I’ve second-guessed myself a lot too, but everytime I do that, I tell myself what I’ve planned will be fine, and then I stop thinking about wedding stuff just to get my mind off of it. I also don’t look at as many wedding sites, and when I start to feel panicked about my decisions, I just reassure myself it will all work out. Just make a decision and tell yourself, “that’s it!” It’s set and I’m sure it will all be wonderful! ๐Ÿ™‚

Ahhh!! Another indecisive bride. Join the club! I’ll send you your memership card shortly. Lol. This was so me but now with three months left I have to be happy with what I’ve chosen and I am. As someone who’s been here before, I would say you want to stress yourself as less as possible so try to find something you love and stick with it.

I keep changing my mind about everything too!!!  I’ve had basic ideas of what I wanted my day to look like since I was a kid, but everything keeps changing.

Thank goodness I still have a year and a half to plan!  I’m not choosing my dress until at least 1 year before the wedding because I keep seeing ones that I like more than the last.  I can’t decide on a colour,  I think when we find our perfect venue that will make a huge difference.  We only JUST decided we would get married in Oregon, rather than the city we live in (Calgary, Canada.)

I think when you find those perfect things you love (like your FH!) you will be able to stick with it!

Good luck!

Yep, definitely had that phase.  I set a deadline for myself for the “thinking” portion of the wedding.  Then I told my Fiance that everything after that date was just executing what I had already planned and picked.  He’s suppose to remind me every time I’m browsing inspiration boards and changing my mind.

Currently in the “executing” phase.  It’s hard, but I’ve been SO much more productive in actually completing DIY stuff than before!

(of course, I’m on weddingbee right now, so I’m still not THAT productive!)
