I’m a very strong believer that if one has the same dream repetitively it means something. Every month or so, I have the same dream. It goes something like this:
I’m not sure where it starts off but at some point in the dream it is made clear that there are about 4-5 five of us in my dream. The people in the dream are usually me, my parents, and my Fiance and/or close friends and family. They aren’t always the same people in the dreams, and it can be a mixture. Anyways, it usually is a dream where I’m at my great grandmother’s house (occasionally a cousins). I’m conscience that some authority figure is sleeping in another part of the house. On the second floor of the house I go into a closet and find a trap door. I enter it and lead the other people who are with me in the dream into the it and we manage to go to the next floor of the house. I keep going up and up the levels until I get to the top. of the house–the only way to get to the next level is by entering through a secret entrance or a trap door. When I get to the top there are different things that happen
One month when I got to the top I was alone and stared out of a window outside. It was dark outside but bright inside and I felt like everyone was watching me, the secret girl on the top floor who found all the trap doors
Another month I made it to the top and it was a rickety attic where I could see all the tattery ceiling and floor boards. The room was full of wonderful treasures (antiques) that I wanted and the thing I wanted the most was somewhere in front of me. However, all over the room there were snakes crawling around and I couldn’t get the thing I wanted the most (I don’t remember what it was).
There have been other variations but I’m not quite sure what they were though. Thanks to anyone who read all of that and/or has any thoughts about it.

In a college psych class, I had to keep a dream diary so I got really into this stuff. When this happens to me, I always go to this website to analyze it. It obviously won’t match up to your exact dream, but pick out the most prominent things in your dream and look them up. It may give you some insight. For this, I’d look up:
closet/trap door, window, attic, snakes
Maybe if you put them all together it will give you an idea of what’s going on in your life that keeps bringing this dream on! They also have a discussion board and I believe you can submit your exact dream to have it analyzed.

@MrsMaine: wow I just looked up all of the meanings and it sounds really scary. The closet and trap door indicates that I’m hiding something from others whether or not I know it. The trap door is better though because it can mean that something better is coming along. The snake can either represent something sexual or hidden worries and fears that I might be afraid to admit. The attic generally represents the highest part of me or my mind and a cluttered attic can mean my thoughts need to be worked out. It can also represent things that have happened in my past that I need to let go of.
This is their definition of window:
To see a window in your dream, signifies bright hopes, vast possibilities and insight. If the window of a house is dark, then it indicates a loss to your perception or vitality.
To dream that you are looking out the window, signifies your outlook on life, your consciousness and your point of view. It also refers to your intuition and awareness. You may be reflecting on a decision. Or you need to go out into the larger world and experience life. If you are looking in the window, then it indicates that you are doing some soul searching and looking within yourself. It is time for some introspection. To see another face in the window in your dream, suggests that you are feeling emotionally distant and physically detached. Also consider the emotion depicted on the face.
To see shut windows in your dream, signify desertion and abandonment.
