Stop looking and just come prepared with white umbrellas! Our forecast was sunny until the day before.  Our ceremony (outside) was cloudy with a drizzle afterwards.  It made for gorgeous lighting for photos and our guests were able to get inside by the time it started drizzling.  It was a magnificent wedding, rain or shine.  You’ll be shocked at how much you do not care on the actual day!

Just posting to say that I feel you! My wedding is 10 months away and I’m already paranoid (yes, really LOL) It’s a totally outdoor wedding (tented reception) and, while doing the ceremony in the reception tent is our backup, I’d be so devastated. It’s a gorgeous garden venue that we chose specifically because of how beautiful the ceremony site is… If it rains, we wasted a lot of money on that venue and I’ll be devastated!

So… If I’m panicking this much 10 months out, I’m sure I’ll be in your shoes 10 DAYS out!

Sorry for the lack of advice haha just wanted to let you know I relate!

It’s normal to worry about that! It rained the morning of my wedding and about three hours before we had to make the call to set it up outside on the beach and just hope for the best or switch it to the indoor area. We went for outdoors and it spritzed for a a few seconds but other than that was sunny. So you never know even on the day of! You just have to make the best call you can at the time and hope for the best!

PP’s advice about coming prepared is good! Y ou ure not going to stop checking, so you might as well lean into it. We were worried about the temperature for our wedding. It was -37 the day before the wedding, and a bright and warm 0 for the wedding day. You just never know how it will go, so embrace the unexpected!

I totally feel this. My wedding was 8/18/18. Rained all week, I was checking the forecast hourly. It kept switching between sunny day and thunderstorms take cover. The day came and it was sunshine and I was SO happy! You can’t really trust the forecast, to be honest. All I can say is make a rain plan because you may need it, and also get some sort of vial or jar to catch some rain water in as a keepsake if it does rain.

My wedding is 13 days out. I’ve been obsessively healing too. (Maybe 4 times a day, so it could be worse.) I have no advice!

I got married in autumn and didn’t obsess over weather at all. Our venues are inside. Thankfully I didn’t as it poured with rain and only stopped half an hour before our ceremony!
