it’s SOOO adorable! I found this set for $50, plus it comes with two additional safari themed blankets: http://www.target.com/p/NoJo-Jungle-Babies-6-pc-Crib-Set/-/A-10387070.
I know that bumpers aren’t used any more and that the diaper stacker will be useless (we’re doing cloth diapers) and that the baby won’t have any use for the comforter for quite awhile…but on the other hand, it’s gender neutral (could be used for multiple babies!) and so cute.
What did you ladies do with your nursery set pieces that weren’t necessary? Could I try making an additional valence from the bumper or a throw pillow for the rocker from the diaper stacker? Hang the comforter on the wall as wall art? Is it worth the $50?
DH doesn’t care (lol, so typical), but likes the animals. Thanks for the advice!

I love it! I’ve seen that one before on the Target website. So cute! Yep, you can hang the blanket on the wall. I’ve seen many do that. That is what I plan on doing.

I really, really like that one! We aren’t going to have a traditional nursery. The baby will just a corner of our room. I think I’ll register for one and if we get it, great. If not I’ll just sheets for the crib and live without all the other cool stuff. Is it an option to buy just the pieces you want?

Go for it! You can repurpose the bumpers, and just because you won’t need a comforter at first doesn’t mean you’ll never use it…and it makes great wall art in the meantime!

$50?! What a steal! The price is coming up $149.19 when I clicked on the link! I went through the same thing – I fell in love with a set and debated if I should get it or just get something more practical (that I’ll actually use). Practicality won out for me, but if it was a steal, I would have snapped it up immediately!
Plus, you can use the blanket as a play blanket, and the diaper stacker to hold blankets or burp clothes!

I would have said no- but since it is only $50- why not?

You can still use the diaper stacker- just fill it up with disposables. It’s too cute not to use.

I think it is cute!
I have a crib bumper and plan on using it…we don’t plan on putting baby in crib until at least 5 months.
