Thanks for clearifying Darling Husband, I never really knew what it meant, just that it refered tot he boy. I think I may have used it incorrectly as “designated husband” once or twice when refering to my Fiance.

Wedding Acronym Dictionary

That’ll help with some πŸ™‚

EDIT to add: The bloggers (i.e. Bees) are chosen by … well, I’m not sure who chooses them, but you have to apply and have a preexisting blog and all that, I think. Once in a while one of them will mention applying, either telling her own story (usually when they start) or mentioning that new apps are being accepted. Hang around for a while, maintain your own blog, and soon you’ll be able to apply if you want!

wow, I’ve never seen SWIM… haha.

Yeah, for more info on the bees’ names – Mrs. Avocado, Quiche, Espresso, etc. – each individual blogger who is chosen to write on weddingbee is given a moniker. They started out with insects (Mrs. Bee’s real name is Bee… and then she added Mrs. Ant, Spider, etc). The newest Bees are being given names that are junk food items and there are some Dog names and Weather icons left as well. These bloggers blog under their name as “Miss” such and such (ie: Miss Avocado), until they get married and then they become Mrs. such and such (Mrs. Avocado). If you hover over the moniker/icon in their post, you can see their picture and info about them.

Welcome to weddingbee!

Whew thanks @<span class=”numpostsandtitle”>melimel33 for starting the thread!  I had been wondering too and was thinking of doing asking but was too shy πŸ˜›

<span class=”numpostsandtitle”>@daydreamwanderer your link helped a lot!  Things like Future Mother-In-Law were driving me crazy…I was like, “Fiance’s Mother-In-Law”?  LOL then I realized that would indicate the author’s mother, so I was really confused!  F is for “future”…super πŸ™‚

Oh yeah, Mr. such and such (ie. Mr. Potato) is just what the bee’s call their fiances/husbands. πŸ™‚

Don’t feel dumb – there are a lot of confusing acronyms and such out there – you’ll get used to it.
