*Hugs* It doesn’t matter how close you were to him. It’s the shock of knowing someone who did it more than anything. My thoughts are with you and his family.

Wow, so sad and I am so sorry for your loss.  It’s hard to imagine what he must have been going through to feel had to go through with that.

Im really really sorry for your loss. Death is never an easy thing to understand, especially for a young person, but suicide is even harder to understand. I have been personally affected by suicide and it is a very devastating and confusing thing. There are a lot of questions and emotions that come when a person takes their own life, and just becase you werent that close with him doesnt mean you dont have the right to be upset about it. If you are able to, you should go to the services if the family has them open to others, it shows support and it is a way of paying your respects and having some sort of closure. Im so sorry that you are having to experience this. ((hugs))

Oh gosh I’m so sorry! Don’t feel bad about crying over it though! I grew up in a small town and graduated with about 25 people in my class. I know if something like this happened with someone I went to school with, I would cry too! *hug*

*hugs* It’s always so hard when someone your age from your class dies. Our class has been super lucky so far, but it’s still scary.

Im so sorry to hear about that, a very good friend of mine is a sergeant in the Marines and after being in Iraq and seeing everything she seen, she was different when she came home.  She constantly fought with her husband and they have to see a marriage counseler.  A few months ago she was driving on the highway and just stepped on the gas harder and harder and didnt stop.  She said in her mind she just wanted to keep on going, but then she realized what she was doing and slowed down and pulled over.  She had thoughts of suicide all the time, she told me after seeing a therapist, it changed everything for her.  She is the happy girl I knew when I first met her 15 years ago.  I guess therapy works for some people

I’m sorry to hear about this.  I don’t think there is anything wrong with it making you cry.  It’s very sad, no matter how well you knew him.

I am so sorry to hear this. I had a small HS class as well, and when my first classmate passed away, I had a really hard time with it. Let yourself cry… it will help you through it.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Suicide is never easy to deal with because many of us don’t understand why someone would do something like this to themself and the people that love and care about them. I unfortunately have had 2 really good friends committ suicide within the last few years and it’s heart breaking. Just seeing what it does to their families breaks my heart. It’s a permanent solution to a temporary problem. It just changes everyone that knew them, cared about them, and loved them. Again, very sorry for your loss.Cry
