@searock:  Ooo yeah! I would definitely encourage you to go to the UK. I’m biased because that is where I am from. Ireland is lovely too. I am not sure of the visa situation. If you don’t intend to work, it would probably not be hard to just come over for an extended holiday. If you do need to work, then I am not sure if being married would help legally. What is his reason for sticking with the Sept. 2014 date? Have you guys already put deposits down for vendors? If you’re still in the early planning stages, I don’t see why you couldn’t move it up by a couple months. You would still have almost an entire year to plan, which is more than enough.

This is what relationships are all about! You have legitimate feelings. He doesn’t share your concerns, but you guys should be able to come to some sort of compromise so you can both feel comfortable with what is happening. I think you need to talk to him again.
