Yeah that’s such a double standard!  Guys don’t understand that we work hard to buy things for the house, cook and feed them.

psh… mine just about has a heart attack when I ask him to fold a load of laundry or do the dishes. He throws a fit better than our two year old can! haha

yeah, my Fiance told me “i don’t wash dishes.” he has done them 2 times in the 2 years we’ve lived together so i don’t think hes changing anytime soon. no big deal i guess, but he also said ” i don’t vacuum or dust either.” his list seems to be growing daily after i ask him to do something and he whines and complains about it!!

i told him we will be getting a house cleaner then πŸ˜€

You take on all these tasks because you choose to. Delegate a little and he’ll understand. When Darling Husband was unemployed i ran myself ragged doing everything. Finally i said, “i’m working and going to school, you do it all” and he does. And now he understands =]

First Sat in June. If not we’ll have to catch ya when you guys are more settled! It’s always the first Saturday of the month in BR park (right up my street!) at 10am in the summer and I think 1pm when it’s not warm.

Mind doesn’t mind doing big stuff, like cleaning a whole room, or mowing the lawn, but ask him to take out the bins or take in the washing, and “sorry, but I’m right in the middle of this!” or “Oh, I’ve only just put my feet up” he has an excuse for every occasion . Grr
