I am trying to choose my flowers for my Destination Wedding over the internet. They have a lovely bouquet of White & Pink lotus and frangipani that I want for myself. I want to know do the Bridesmaid or Best Man usually have the same bouquet but smaller or would they have just 1 or 2 of the same flowers, ie frangipani and white lotus or Pink & white lotus? Also same question for chapel & cake, do I do all the same flowers or just pick one type for the aisle arrangements? I really wanted peonies but you cant get them in Thailand I believe. Plus I dont want to pay extra than what I am paying so local flowers suit me.

They have whatever you want.
Mine had complementary colours, but completely different flowers, and smaller than my BIG bunch of divine roses…. Ahhh, they were so beautiful!

They were very similar at my wedding. Mine was fuschia orchids and roses, and my BMs just had orchids.

Depends on what you want and how different you want it to look. Mine will be similar but bigger and with a few different flowers. My MOHs’ (two) will be similar to the other bridesmaids, but have a few more orchids in them.
Identical would be fine, or completely different would be fine too. For instance if you wanted an all white bouquet but your BMs to have color you could do it that way.

I said ‘Other’ because you can do it however you want. I’ve seen it all different ways. Mine was completely differen that my BM’s but with an inverted color scheme (mine- light blue with dark pink, theirs light pink with dark blue).

@ItsPronounced_ABear: I agree!
Do whatever you want. I am planning on keeping some of the same flowers but having mine in white, and my girls with a smaller boquet in red. But I have also seen weddings where the girls just have smaller bouquets, or completely different flowers altogether. Look around and see what you like!

I am having a lavender bouquet with 300 stems in it while my bridesmaids will each have a lavender bouquet of 100 stems. I like the uniform look personally but you can really play around with flowers and do whatever you prefer. There are no set rules! 🙂

Mine was a larger version with different wrapping.

I had a different bouquet than my bridesmaids and maid of honor. Mine was red roses with white cala lillies, and theirs were red and yellow roses.

You, as the bride, can pick and choose! It is all up to you!

I’m not certain that I will carry a bouquet. and I’ve ordered wrist corsages for my ‘maids, be/c one of them swoons over them. go figure.

You can do whatever you want! I’m having a yellow bouquet and my BMs and having white (I like how the colors will contrast–I’m wearing an ivory dress and they’re wearing yellow dresses), but they will be of the same flowers. Usually the bride’s bouquet is bigger than the BMs….other than that, do whatever you want!

Meh they can be however you want them to be. Mine will be the same as the girls’ bouquets with the exception that mine is twice as large. We’re having dried lavander bouquets tied with lace ribbon. The only other difference is that the girls’ bouquets will be tied with a “love knot” while mine will be tied with a normal bow.
