I know nothing either!  Let’s all pretend we know nothing “lalalalala….”!

That’s really exciting!  I hope we get a fabulous proposal story from you very soon πŸ™‚

Also, that’s great that you are letting him know your expectations (to throw him off and such) but I would not bring it up again, unless he does first.  I have read that makes some guys wait even longer! πŸ™

I think you should propose to him. Almost all your threads are analyzing when this proposal is going to happen. Is it even any fun for you anymore? I don’t say this to be a bitch, you just seem so stressed out about not having control over this and pushing and analyzing every detail including your nails, looking for clues, and dropping hints about the ideal season to have your wedding. Why not just ask him to marry you?

It sounds like your proposal is just around the corner and I’m sure it’ll be wonderful! Now you can rest easy and just let him do his thing!

@GwenvonD:  I, too, am acting like I know nothing!  Just trying to be excited for the “trip” coming up in April that I know (a friend let it slip) he’ll be proposing on. But we also talked about prospective wedding dates and the fact that we don’t want a super long engagement.  It’s not easy for me to be wait either!  Enjoy this anticipation πŸ™‚

@GwenvonD: Girl, as soon as P proposes… my first response after saying “YES” is going to be “When can I start planning the wedding!” πŸ˜‰

I know lots of men that had the ring, but wanted to wait until their gf stopped bringing it up all of the time before they proposed.  They all said they felt like constant nagging would tarnish a proposal.  You know he has the ring, you know he’s asked your dad, maybe it’s time to back off with the wedding talk and let him do his thing.  You might be delaying it by constantly bringing it up.

@GwenvonD: sincere in asking what does “starting your life with J ASAP” mean? arent you already having a life together? – I have just never understood this

yay! not too long for you now Gwen πŸ™‚ I think theres no harm in discussion your future wedding with your future husband. We shouldnt be afraid of talking about the future together as a couple. So good on you for setting out your thoughts with him now πŸ™‚
