I am interested in finding this too – I know there has to be a place to get them cheap at wholesale, because every street fair in NYC has them for sale for $5 a pop.

Forever 21 has some really cheap scarves and pashminas. I dont remember how much they were, but I remember thinking to myself that I need to come back when it starts getting colder. 😀

You should try eBay, I haven’t had any problems ordering “pashminas” from overseas vendors.

I got mine on eBay.  They took almost a month to arrive because they came from China!

REAL pashminas? They are expensive. Those $5 a pop are not exactly ‘real’. The only way to know if its real is to do the what I call a ‘gold test’. Keep reading below…

  1. Take a gold ring (average size of about 7-9).
  2. Run the shawl through it.
  3. The ENTIRE shawl should be able to go through the gold ring SMOOTHLY.

That’s the only real pashmina if it does that.

I got mine at one of those little kiosks at the mall. It was like 4 for $20? I don’t know how ‘real’ they are, but they’re really pretty (I use one for myself) and they were cheap!

I found mine last year about Octoberish at Nordstroms rack. They were $12 I think and really great quality with a great selection of colors.  Be careful of where you buy them for your budget. The cheap ones can feel really cheap and snag and feel scratchy. I know we are all on budgets but its better to give/get 1 present of quality that will last than 2 of not quality that can only be used a short time.

I just ordered a bunch from eBay.  They came in at about $8.00 each, including shipping.
