I hate those list.  I looked at what they told me to wear and I looked horrible in them.  I chose exactly what I wasn’t supposed to wear and I felt amazing.

I looked at all of the possible answers and none say, “Buy a big ballgown!” I came up as “Sheath,Mermaid and Trumpet will especially flatter you.” I LOATHE mermaid gowns because I’m super tall with long strides. Not flattering to hobble around all evening haha. My ballgown is super flattering because the ruching hides my big boobs and the full skirt hides my big hips hahah

Seriously, you have a great body and have looked great in every single dress you’ve posted here. If I had your body I would be in spandex 100% of the time. So “too clingy” is not even possible!

Based on your measurements, I think a trumpet dress would look AWESOME!  Dont’ listen to that web site!!!  (But for fun, I’m going to see what they say about me!)

I followed advice, but mostly because it happened to be what I felt good in. I’m a bit of a pear shape and made a run to the A-line gowns when I went to try on gowns…I won’t lie though, although I adore my dress, I do regret not trying on different styles justalittlebit.

I am a pear too! My measurements are 35-29-38 (they will be down by the wedding though!)  but I actually ended up with an a-line (never thought I would!) and I actually love it. Goes to show there’s really no set of guidelines for everyone to follow!

The advice for me was right on.  They also told me to stay away from empire waists, and sure enough, those are pretty much the worst thing for me EVER.
