I lost 12 lbs in January. No detox and I didn’t give up anything except junk foods and I never ate a lot of them anyway. What did it for me is calorie cycling. I bounce between 1000, 1500 and 2000 calories so my metabolism never gets used to a reduced calorie regime. For example, this week I had three days at 1000 calories, 3 days at 1500 calories and today I am planning 2000 calories. Whatever works!

This is the kind of thing we eat regularly, and it *definitely* helps to lose weight or maintain the weight you want. You’ve definitely included lots of veggies and good sources of protein. Yum! Congrats on your weight loss 🙂

we always do a whole30 in january…so strict paleo with NO cheating…

 

no grains, no dairy, no legumes, no sugars, nothing processed, no alcohol…

we stay paleo the rest of the year, but i love doing a whole30!
