Maybe it fell off the dresser and the dog got it. If he did it wouldn’t come out right away it could even take a day or so. I hope you find it

Yeah, if the dog did get it, it wouldn’t come up right away. Try putting a stocking over the vacuum hose and searching under the furniture.

@JemmyGee:  If you really can’t find it anywhere, you could always take your dog to the vet’s office for an X-ray.  If he’s eaten it, it could get lodged and cause problems for him.  I really hope you find it though!!!

@JemmyGee:  Shine a flashlight on the floor (like under furniture, heating registers, etc.) and it’ll catch it if it’s there.

Good luck, it has to be somewhere…

ditto on the flashlight. The ring couldn’t have gone far. Keep up posted.

I’m sure you’ll find it *hugs*

Oh dear! Good thing it was in your apartment though, you’ll find it! Just remind yourself to stay calm and keep looking. Ideally I would suggest a metal detector, but just in case you, like me, don’t happen to have one in your closet, I’d use a flashlight since diamonds are very scintillating. If I didn’t find it after 24 hrs though, I’d rent a metal detector. Oh and I’d be monitoring the dog’s poop… he probably didn’t eat it, but just in case!

Oh no, that is horrible. I really hope you find it. I would be devestated if I lost mine, so I can just imagine how you are feeling!
I will cross my fingers and toes for you that it’s found!

If you took it off in your home and it has to be there! Don’t panic, you will find it!
