So sorry you lost your ring. Hopefully someone will find it and turn it in.  Last week I found an e-ring with a soldered wedding band in the parking lot where I work at and I turned it in to the lost and found and my coworker told me the owner was so stressed out she had lost it and was grateful I turned it in.  I would call Sony Center to see if anyone has turned it in.  Also if you have insurance on your ring you can get it replaced with something very similar.  I know it’s not your original ring but at least your husband won’t have to pay for new ring.

Oh no!! I’m sorry Bee πŸ™ that’s definitely my biggest fear.

did you try making a post about it in your local Facebook and buy and sell groups?

I’m sorry! I hope it turns up. Did you take it off when you washed your hands? Was your ring loose and not the right size? I don’t get how it just falls off in some heavy rain. Did you have it insured?

Didnt lose an e ring but i did lose a special to me garnet solitaire that I loved. I had just finished cleaning it and wrapped it in a paper towel just to blot the water and I must have gotten distracted by something and set it down because we never found it again. My father suspects it got thrown out with the trash because it would have looked like trash. I was sad about it for awhile because I loved it so much but thats about it. Never replaced it because it was purchaaed while I was still working and zales restyle no longer had the same lower priced setting that looked so nice. (This was years before i started using local jewellers only)

So pretty much as soon as I could i got my fiancè (now husband) to insure my e ring and then my wedding set so just in case I did something stupid like that again. I definitely learned a lesson.

I hope your ring turns up!!

I am so sorry to hear this πŸ™ I am a very sentimental person and if I ever lost my ring I would also be so sad. I would my original one too. I understand where you are coming from. The only thing I can suggest is to buy ring insurance for your next ring (if you do decide to replace it). My fiancé was able to insure my ring for $50/year and did it through his normal insurance company. If you call your insurance company to inquire about ring insurance they will know what you are talking about. The insurance covers lost, damaged, or stolen rings. They will replace the ring with no down payment required. I am not sure that every insurance company does this so check with yours to get details. It’s an extra cost but is definitely worth it if something like that happens. Again, so sorry I hope this helps.

Definitely call Sony Center if you haven’t already. Also call local police stations (non emergency number of course) as valuable found property should be turned over to the police. I’d also check the pawn shops in the surrounding area, and I would even look on Ebay. Good luck, I hope you find it!
