Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry! We went and got my ring appraised about 6 months ago, but never got insurance. Dumb! You have inspired me to get it insured this week – especially since my center stone is a family heirloom. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you that it turns up.

I’m so sorry you lost it! I hope that the insurance money covers you getting a new one that will make you happy!

So sorry to hear you lost it! I lost mine a couple weeks ago (sadly it wasn’t insured! Yikes!) I’ve heard some stories though of strangers finding rings and posting “found” signs and people being re-united with their lost rings… Who knows – maybe it will turn up? Definitely feel your pain though. Just remember – it’s only a ring and its replaceable. At least that’s what I keep telling myself!

Update: WE FOUND IT WE FOUND IT!!!!!!!!!
Dad found it a bout 2 hours ago, underneath the staircase of the balcony… it was litterally the last 30mtres they searched. It must of come off when i was walking down and it fell between the steps into the garden underneath. Absolutely stoked!!!
Im feeling lucky at the moment so I better go buy a lotto ticket..
Such a relief! I didnt like the idea of going to buy a replacement.

I am so sorry you had to go through this. But I am very happy that your Dad was able to find it. You have an awesome father, and if it were me, I would definately do something extra special for your Dad.

I am sooooo glad you found it!!!!!!!
Are you going to get it sized down a bit so that there is no chance of it slipping off again?

not yet.. Because the wedding ring needs to be resized also. It doesnt actually slide off my finger that easy.. I think when I was going down the stairs I was carrying something or it moved forward over the knuckle? I seriously have no idea how it fell off. Im wearing a plain white gold band with it, that FH had given me when I had first started dating him that is stopping it at the moment from falling off. so it shouldnt happen again before we get married. Just havent had the time for it to be resized properly.. my fingers are funny shaped things!
