@hiroshymatetrastar:  I’m sorry it’s gone, but if Murphy’s Law has any sway, it’ll show up just when you get the replacement….at least it’s insured….maybe a little nice dinner out and special moment with the new one…just so it still has a special start?

Aww, I’m so sorry!  I hope it turns up!

If you’re the religious type – St. Anthony is the patron saint of lost things, and whenever I pray to him, my missing items usually turn up!

@abbie017:  LOL The moment I read this I started chanting “St. Anthony St Anthony, Please come around….” in my head.

@hiroshymatetrastar:  I’m so sorry! So you had it Friday night and you didn’t leave the house? This is crazy. It’s not like somebody broke it and slipped it off your finger. Walk around barefoot- it’ll jump out and stab you!!

I left mine in the bathroom at work today for about two minutes. First time ever in over a year of wearing it. I ran back and got it. But someone could buy a small car with this ring so u can bet ill never take it off to put on lotion ever again. It’ll just get lotion on it lol.

Itll turn up. Surely its in ur house somewhere.

@hiroshymatetrastar:  do you still need to file a police report or something for a loss to claim it?  I just find it hard to believe it’d be so easy. I mean, that means anyone can claim they ‘loss’ their ring and just get a boat load of money?

I’m so sorry!  I’m sure you’ve already done this, but if you haven’t – try walking the day back.  Literally, walk through your actions from when you KNOW beyond a shadow of a doubt that you had the ring up until when you realized you lost it.  I’ve done that with my fiance when he’s lost things and it’s worked for him so far (knocking on the faux wood at my desk).

@pinkshoes:  Only certain insurance does, like Jewler’s Mutual. I plan on going with them when I get my engagement ring.
