Find something sweet yet healthy to bring every day so when that temptation hits, you can reach for your healthy snack – fruit is especially great, or you can pack a baggie of a healthy cereal if you need something that can be eaten individually.

Please send your HR lady my way.  I’ve been griping all day that none of our vendors brought in chocolate.

Those HR ladies sure are sneaky huh? Tomorrow you should bring in a massive fudge cake and set it down right in front of her on her desk. Then walk away. trolololol

Also, it’s kind of a weird tactic and doesn’t always work but you can try some negative association. Every time you look at the chocolate, think about how disgusting it is and how much you don’t like it.

Might not work, like I said, but a few years ago due to a certain medication I had to stop eating things high in potassium/vitamin K like spinach, broccoli and bananas which are things I LOVE so I “convinced” myself I hated them and it worked pretty well. Took a long time to get myself to eat bananas or broccoli again after, haha.

@eperez21: “I talked to the HR lady and she said the reason why she gets more is because we keep eating them! lol”

I’m stealing this logic and applying it to why we must have lunch parites all the time where I work. Holidays, birthdays, even if there’s more than a couple in a month, you name it, there’s food! We’ve already had 3 since the last week of Jan. Yeah.. there goes my efforts of trying to eat better…
