Honestly, I think the dress is a little too young.  It reminds me of something from the juniors department.  But like everyone else said, it’s your Rehearsal Dinner, you set the mood, and you get to wear whatever you want.

I think it is cute.  You could always take it to a seemstress and have her take the pettiecoat down a little so it’s more flat.  I would dress it down with maybe a black three quarter length cardigan sweater and some low heels or flats.

I love it. But I am kind of out-there.

I’m thinking that your rehearsal dinner is the perfect place to wear that dress.  You set the tone so go for it.

If the other guests at the Rehearsal Dinner, like your attendants, dress up, then go for it!  Maybe like daisylynn said wear a cute cardigan with to dinner then take it off for the dancing part.

I agree with Chillmer: It’s a little young/ junior High-ish. A little too over the top for my taste. But to each their own.

I think this dress is so fun!! If you love it, go for it — why not? If it makes you happy, you’ll feel confident and be able to focus on all the love surrounding you at your rehearsal dinner. : )
p.s. sorry for the random comment months after you posted your question, but I’m a new bee and trying to visit the pages of those, like you, who gave me input on my “poufy dress” question today — trying to “pay it forward” by giving feedback since I appreciated it  : )
