So I absolutely love my dress…but I haven’t shared it with many people. I want my guests to see it for the first time at the wedding (as well as my fiancé!) It only took 2 visits to the US (I live in Sweden), 7 bridal boutiques, and countless dresses.
What I ended up buying was not at all what I was orginally looking for. Did this happen to anyone else? What I pictured in my head originally was lacy, Jim Hjelm…what I ended up with was classic, Priscilla of Boston (which also happes to be the brand my mother wore!!) and pairing it with a mantilla-style veil.
Let me know what you think…I’m also posting the shoes I plan to wear during the ceremony…still looking for fun flats for the reception.

That is exactly what happend to me. My heart was set on wearing a lacey Jim Hjlem dress but I too ended up with a Priscilla of Boston dress.
Your dress is absolutely beautiful. I know how you feel with the surprise, when you find something so amazing it’s hard to keep it a secret. I went with style 4200.
I bought my dress with over a year to the wedding. I know, risky right? I am still IN LOVE with the dress. You will be so happy with you POB choice. Her dresses are timeless.
Congrats and good luck.
