I think a plain band in the same shape thickness would be perfect. I think it would make your ering pop and would be timeless. And a plain band is such a lovely symbol to exchange vows with. With that style you can always stack more bling later.

Agree, a simple plain band and add bling down the track

What a stunner your ering is! I too think that a plain band would go very well with it!

Of course a band that looks just like the band of your ring (diamonds the same width and thickness) work too, but that would give you aaa lllooottt of bling on your hand! 🙂

As past posters said a plan band would be beautiful paired with your ring. Or if you want just a little bit of flair without over powering your ring, a thin (2mm) engraved band would look nice too.

Your ring is beautiful, congrats Bee!  I agree with PPS, a plain, polished band would look classic and beautiful.  If you wanted a little bling, a matching wedding band would look equally as stunning. I’m partial to plain bands though 😍

What about a band like this?

This is what I will get, and my setting is similar to yours 🙂

sunny890 :  My diamond is not a cushion, but our rings have a similar feel. This is the band we picked out. I might also get a plain band, we will see. But we bought this band on the trip where we got engaged ao its special and different and I love it 🙂

sunny890 :  That is one beautiful cushion solitaire. Because of its stunning solo, if I was you, i’d pick a cushion wedding band of maybe 7 or eternity cushion band because I love all that bling! I have a solitaire and I went with 7 solitaire wedding band about 0.25 carat each. It’s stunning. Hope this helps. I’m not a fan of a plain wedding band but each to their own. Some people would say having a blingy wedding band will take away the focus of the engagement solitaire but I think otherwise. Why can’t we have both stunning engagement ring and wedding band. If it doesn’t hurt the bank, go for what suits you. Might I add that I really think your ring is absolutely gorgeous. I myself, love a solitaire round diamond but I’ve been googling cushion recently and fiancé is talking about an upgrade already once he moved up to the top position in the company. I’m thankful for what he has done with this engagement ring, but if he wants to upgrade purely because he knows I take great care of my jewelries then I don’t see why I shouldn’t check out cushion too. Absolutely in love with your ring you lucky gal.
