My new Mother-In-Law is awesome. I love her to death. This is one of the many reasons why:
i am having bilateral breast reduction surgery in a week and a half. For numerous reasons, my sweetie can’t be there. His mama is getting up at O’dark thirty in the morning and taking me to the hospital an hour away, sitting thru the 2 to 3 hr pre op, the 5 1/2 hr surgery and the 1 hr recovery and staying until he can get to the hospital that evening.
I am just so touched that she is willing to sit there all day in the hospital waiting room with nothing to do, just because I asked her to.
She’s also willing to help take care of me after the surgery until I can do things on my own again.
Isn’t she awesome? I’m a lucky girl.

First of all, best wishes for your surgery.
Secondly, congrats on joining what seems to be an awesome family! I think far too often we hear horror stories of mamas competing with new wives/FI for affection for their baby boy. Sounds like you’ve got a winner here!!!!

Best wishes for the procedure.
I’m so happy for you that you have a great Mother-In-Law and that you decided to post about her. There are so many “Monster in Law” stories that it’s really nice to hear of a great Mother-In-Law.
