Obviously we all love our e-rings, but what’s something special or unique you love about your ring?
I’ll tell you mine.
Fiance worked for a lawn company in New York- so all winter he was laid off. Every single penny counted- and when he went back to work, he had a lot of catching up to do financially. Because of this, I didn’t expect to have a ring for a long, long time. But Fiance worked his BUTT off and made it a top priority to save for my ring. It’s gorgeous and whenever I think about the fact that he couldn’t wait to get a ring on my finger, I want to cry. So sweet.
Anyone else have a unique reason you love your ring? Maybe an engraving? Maybe it was passed down in the family? Maybe you have a silly story behind how it got picked out? Tell me your story! <3

Maybe this is corny…..but JUST beacuse my man gave it to me. 😉 He also picke dit out himself, with some ideas of what I wanted, and did the perfect job.

I love my ring because it’s the exact style I’ve dreamed about! I also helped in designing it!

My diamond wasn’t set 100% straight when my Fiance proposed so he took me back to the diamond district the next day to get it fixed. When we got to the store the saleslady immediately recognized my Fiance and told me how worried he had been about picking out the perfect diamond for me. The thought of him stressing out about the diamond made me appreciate how much thought he had put into my ring.

I love mine because it has a very slight greenish tint to it in certain light. I think that makes it a little more special :).

I love my ring because all of the diamonds in my e-ring and two bands are from my grandmother who is no longer here.

I love my ring because he worked so hard to save up for it so fast. He knew I didn’t want him going into debt for it, and he had a certain size/quality in mind he wasn’t willing to budge on, so he worked his ass off to save a crazy amount of money each month to buy it.
About the ring itself, I love that he asked my Maid/Matron of Honor to help him pick it out so he’d get it just right, I love how long he spent looking, and I love how (even though I gave him 3 shapes I liked) he picked the one I really wanted the most — cushion– which is different than anyone I know in real life. 🙂

Mine hasn’t even come into fruition- but- I will love it because my late cousin picked out the stone, and my SO and I worked very hard on the design. The tiny diamonds will come from a ring my mom gave me- there is a lot of love wrapped in that ring.

melt my heart right? A few days later we walked by a jeweler who Fiance went to first but said the lady wouldn’t listen to him explain what I was like and help him pick out a ring so he wouldn’t buy one from her. But he went to a different jeweler and told her about me and she was kind and patient and helped him pick out just the right ring. I love to think about how much he cared to walk away from someone who wouldn’t listen and just settle for something. Precious.

I love my ring because of what the rings means, a commitment from the man I love, that we are going all in, forever! I love that HE picked it out. I love that he gave it to me. I love all it represents and signifies and love who it is from…thinking about it makes me smile, and I’m smiling as we speak.

I love my ring because my Fiance gave it to me, and for what it symbolizes.
However, if we’re talking physically, I love it because it sits low on my finger and doesn’t really get caught on things. I love it because it is 3 of my favorite cut of diamond (emerald!), and it’s really sparkly!!

I love my ring because as soon as my FH got it, he proposed that day, instead of waiting 2 weeks until our trip like he had planned! It always reminds me of how excited he was to get engaged, too!

LOVE that! melt my heart!

I love my ring b/c my Fiance took the time to design it himself in the midst of battling stomach cancer. The fact that he would stress over something like that while going through chemo is crazy….but I love the fact that he believes I am worth it =)

I love mine b/c when I look at it I remember seeing it for the first time in the box when DH was down on one knee proposing. I’m crying now at work thinking about it. Thanks a lot! 😉
