I think your dress is gorgeous. It just look like you have a weird stance in that picture!! Dont over think it 😀 When cna you try it on again? when will you get the alterations?

I think the one you have is very pretty. However, I also love the bow detail on the shoulder of the second one.

I am kinda in the same boat, but really what the heck do you do with a dress you can’t return?? I think mine is just a case of “maybe there is something better.” You loved this dress enough to buy it for a reason. It is beautiful and I have no idea what kind of feel you are going for but it has a fairytale vibe going for it.

I realy like both. Personally, I think its just the way you are standing in the first dress that makes it ‘slouchy’ b/c your posture is ‘slouchy’. Not meaning it in a bad way at all. Trying it on again and think about standing tall with your shoulder back!!! It will help alot:) Do you think you are just not happy in that dress tho, and thats why you are standing like that? I think the detail on that dress is amazing AND you have the body to pull off the strapless hun! You really do. I hope it all works out for you. Either way you will be a beautiful bride!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whatver dress you end up with, OWN it!!

Maybe you can alter the dress to add an illusion neckline? I think it would look very pretty with one.

Story of my life!  I’ve gone back and forth so many times, but in the end, I couldn’t imagine coughing up the extra $ for a 2nd dress.  I think it’s a tough call… i think the first is really pretty, but I really like the second also…  That being said, I think the angle/lighting etc of a photo can really play up a dress, so it’s hard to choose.

There are some coverup options out there that you can alter to give you the illusion neckline you want. Like the first two and have the sleeves removed. (Probably cheaper on etsy). The last one is just pretty.

If you love the bow on the dress, you can probably have your seamstress add one from the material she cuts off to hem your dress.

Ps. Your original dress makes you look crazy thin in a good way!

ETA: You can also get a capelet and keep it as is or make it into an illusion neckline.

I love the second one, it’s fun and I could totally see it for an outdoors wedding.  The original dress looks great on you, the bust area is detailed very nice, but it doesnt shape to you like the second one does.  I’m not liking the bottom of it
