I love this Amalia Carrara dress, but my sisters think it is too busy. I love the skirt and would wear it lined. I wish the model was standing so you could see how it fits her, but I think it is beautiful. What do you think?

I personally think it is gorgeous! though I do agree I wish the model would be standing so you could see how it fits better.

I guess you and I are the only ones on here that think so. lol NO one else commented. I still like it though.

I think it’s too busy for me personally, but I can see the beauty in it for the right bride 🙂

@floridabride12: That is what my sister’s think as well. I think the feather cut and beadwork is really unique.

I apparently like busy, but every time I pass this ad in the magazine, Fiance cringes a little bit! I like it, but i definitely wouldn’t let my skin show under the bodice, grammie’s going to be there, geez.

stunning but it depends on how it looks on you.

i pointed this out to my mom (because it’s so busy) and she said she liked the flower. lol.

It’s a bit too dramatic for me, but nonetheless, it’s a very romantic and beautiful dress…

What is the style of your wedding?
I feel like this dress needs a huge fanciful wedding to not look like too much.
I also agree the bodice should be lined, I’m not a fan of the see through bodices.

@shanibee: Haha well you KNOW I would love it so I didn’t even bother to post the first time. I’m all about those busy wedding dresses!
I see you’re still thinking of Eve of Milady dresses 🙂 Coincidentally I just looked at their 2011 collection online last week and loved it. I want to have a wedding every year and wear a dozen dresses “sigh*. The one you posted was one of my favorites, also A15 and E5. Just what I would go for if I was still looking.
With your figure and gorgeous skin, I think you can pull this off dress off. I would also get the bodice lined. Looks like she did a lot of those see through ones this year – must be because of Pnina Tornai’s popularity.

i think it’s too busy. It is beautiful though and could work in the right venue/on the right bride! It looks like a dress that you’d need to be reallllly skinny and have a perfect figure to pull off.

I adore it! Definitely NOT the same old same old!

@elliestan: i was just about to say “i like the flower”.
Seriously though, its beautiful! I’d just worry its so much that it would take away from any bride herself. As i was typing this I tested myself and i couldnt even remmeber what color her hair was!

@meliss: lol Meliss. I feel like since we postponed it, I am doing this planning thing all over again and my taste has somewhat changed. So now I know what not to do this time around. I still love LZ3804 though. 🙂 This time, I am going for the dress of my dreams and not settling. I hated being an indecisive 2 dress bride. lol You and I have similar tastes. I love this dress but believe it definitely needs to be lined. All I saw in the magazine close ups were cups. I called the salon I put down the deposit for the sample Eve that I cancelled and she said I can use the money for this dress if I go with her. Also she had the trunk show earlier this year and I stopped by to actually see the dress in person, but it was the only one that did not show because they had to fix the beading. It definitely looks delicate with all the feathers and beading.
