Is there some significance to leaving both pairs of shoes at the door? does this “signal” something, since the bride is winking? I have never heard of this – but it is a very cute picture!

I LOVE it.  I definitely want to re-enact the photo somehow.  I love how the woman is winking.  That fits me perfectly.

What a cute idea!  Especially if you’re going for a vintage look to your wedding…

I like the idea a PP made of having someone take a similar shot at your home…  Or you might be able to talk to the manager at a local hotel, show them the picture and see if they’d let you use one of their rooms for a half hour to get the shot.

For those of you not old enough to remember, in the old days you could leave your shoes outside the hotel room door to be polished each night.

This picture signals that they won’t be needing their shoes any more than evening.(wink, wink, nudge, nudge)
