I think it works because the stones in the 3-stone aren’t huge and are all about the same size.

I like the idea of using a family heirloom. And it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks as long as you love the two together.

emilyjean89:  at first before I even saw the pic, I was thinking… No way a 3 stone could match your ring, lol! It actually looks good to me! I was thinking the center stone of the 3 stone was bigger then the rest! But being that they look all the same & seeing it with your ring, it looks good together.

To me it looks like 2 different rings stacked on top of each other. I think it’d look even more odd IRL with the mixed metals more pronounced. Sorry!
